The Hummus trio was insanely good. 2 fresh pitas accompanied the trio. I also loved the cigar appetizer. However my partner found his lamb shank dry and tasteless. ( After working in a restaurant he won't return food.) The atmosphere was fun and the server was helpful.

A fantastic experience all around with food and service. We loved the colorful yet relaxing environment of the restaurant. So many menu items seemed good so we opted for the family style menu option which we found to be a good deal. I'm so happy we did this as we did not have to miss out on too much as everything is truly delicious. This was such a treat, I definitely recommend it!

Lunch review: TLDR - I would come here every day for lunch if I could. Hummus sampler was - as expected - phenom. We had the Turkish (basically a butter hummus served warm), the beef and pine nut topped hummus (our favorite), and the seasonal hummus which was topped with egg, tomato, and spice (super fresh tasting and a great compliment to the richer other two options). It was great and probably too big for just two of us but we finished it anyway. Lamb platter is a ton of food and delicious and - IMO - a steal at $16. Drinks are pricey but they have a nice selection of beer, cider, wine, cocktails, and zero proof options. Service was great - super helpful and attentive - and the ambiance, while loud, was lively and pleasantly energetic. One note, outdoor dining is for eating takeout only. Will definitely be back!

My food tour of Philly was filled with some amazing bites and Dizengoff was surely one of them. We made a reservation for lunch, which I think was a good call as the restaurant was decently full. We opted for the beef hummus to start and each got lamb Schwarma platters. We also got a side of fries and pickles because why not? Everything was absolutely divine. The flavors of these dishes were out of this world, with my showstopper being how good the pita was. It was the most perfect vechicle to scoop everything up and enjoy. The platter is quite a lot of food for $16 so I think it's a great value for the quality. I am so sad we do not have one of these in Miami, as I would surely frequent often for this goodness.

We have been waiting for our reservation ever since this place re-opened with a re-imagined full dining menu while still serving up the classic hummus it's known for! It was everything and more! It's a full dining room and then there's a kitchen towards the back where you can see all the action taking place. We loved the food options - very inventive and super tasty! The service was so quick and informative! They were extra sweet and provided us a dessert on the house as we were celebrating an anniversary! The little custom touches along with the impeccable food and service earns this place the coveted 5 star review - highly recommend!

Such a great restaurant. We went for a birthday and had the best experience - service, food, atmosphere, everything. Key highlights were 1) they had a personalized menu and 2) the Moroccan cigars. Will absolutely be back! RIP to Abe Fisher, another one of our favorites, but Dizengoff takes the mantle well!

Food: 5 out of 5 Menu: 3.5 out of 5 Service: 4.5 out of 5 Ambiance: 5 out of 5 Value for money: 3 out of 5 The hummus is pretty addictive and can be ordered with interesting toppings such as minced beef or mushrooms. This hummus will make its place in my personal top 5 list and pairs really well with the soft, fluffy pitas. The lunch menu is pretty tiny, so you don't have too many options besides the hummus - just a chicken schnitzel platter or a vegetarian equivalent with eggplant. The place does get full, so a reservation is highly recommended for any meal. Service was warm and attentive and I enjoyed my meal with friends. There isn't much to dislike about this place besides the limited menu and the steep pricing. Even in an era where inflation is a known problem, Dizengoff surprised me with a bill of $30 for a bowl of hummus with mushrooms, 2 pita breads, and a small-ish glass of frozen hibiscus lemonade.

I never had "old" Dizengoff, so I only know new and improved Dizengoff and all I can say is: lucky me! I had the pleasure of dining in for lunch with my boyfriend last week and had a really excellent time. Food is delicious, service was friendly and prompt, and prices are right where you'd expect for higher end mediterranean, which is what this is. It's the Solomonov pita and hummus you know and love, but with some fun additions, like the mushroom hummus we enjoyed as an appetizer. SO delicious and obviously what leftover dreams are made of. Options for lunch are limited, which I don't hate. You're basically choosing lamb, chicken, or eggplant in either a platter or a pita. I went with the chicken schnitzel platter and Mike went with the lamb pita, and he ordered correctly all around. The chicken schnitzel was fairly underwhelming in my opinion. A fried cutlet that was lacking the knockout flavor I've come to expect from this family of restaurants. I had to ration out my pickle to add some balance and moisture to the otherwise bland "star" of this dish. The cucumber tomato salad is outstanding and the tehina that comes with the chicken platter was appreciated. I did try a bite of the lamb pita and would 100% order that next time. The design and brightness of this restaurant is also where it shines, with a gorgeous bar area that would make for an excellent corporate happy hour or lunch meeting, and really adds some nice color to this otherwise fairly grey portion of Sansom. I will return often and am grateful to have this gem of a spot back open close to home.

Apparently, this restaurant used to be a small, mostly take-out lunch locale. Not anymore! Funky dining room with a beautiful bar and great vibes. If you've never tried orange wine, this is the place to do so (Trebbiano Spoletino Orange). So crisp and refreshing, served chilled. The skins of the grapes are what makes it orange in color. We love all-things-hummus, and we couldn't sample the menu fast enough. The Masabacha Hummus and Turkish Hummus were delicious. The soft and pillowy pita bread accompaniment enhanced our love. For our second course, we sampled the Petrozilla. We loved the crunch and tang of the pomegranates. Entrees included the Chicken Schnitzel and the Smoked Cabbage. Who knew cabbage could be so delicious? We realized we needed an additional item, so the Moroccan Cigars were up next (three to an order... the four of us made it work). The Tehina-Date Ice Cream Sandwich was incredible. I didn't have high expectations, but wow, this was unique and fantastic. Our server was so attentive and sweet. She kept us laughing. This place is a must try!
